Pectin in general

Pectin is extracted from plant raw material containing a high natural pectin content, such as citrus peel, apple or beet pomace.  These pectin extracts are then specifically processed into a number of different types of pectin with specific properties. Pectin has been universally recognized as a natural and healthful ingredient which is more and more appreciated by consumers, popularly used as jellifying, thickening and stabilizing agent which is an indispensable component of a great variety of products in both food industry such as jams, confectionery articles, baked and dairy products ,etc. and nonfood industry such as cosmetics and pharmaceutics, etc.  Which type of pectin will finally be used by our customer relies largely on the specific criteria to be met by the end product.

What we supply

Our pectin is made from citrus peel, and the following types can be available:

1.     high-ester rapid-set pectin

2.     low-ester  pectin

3.     high-ester slow-set pectin

4.     pharmaceutics/healthcare-level pectin

How to use: For high-ester pectin, uniformly combine with as much as 4-5 times sugar, under stirring, slowly go into hot water for solution. For low-ester one, dissolve directly in hot water (jellified with calcium-ion)
